Detailed Description

The Air Filter & Filter Cap assembly by BMC is designed to safeguard respiratory devices—including CPAPs, BiPAPs, non‐invasive ventilators, and oxygen concentrators—from airborne contaminants such as dust, pollen, and bacterial spores. The HEPA‐grade filter media traps ≥ 99.97 % of particles ≥ 0.3 µm, protecting internal compressors, blowers, and sensors from premature wear and ensuring that delivered gas remains clean.

Encased in a rugged ABS plastic filter cap, the filter element is held securely in place via a snap‐on/snap‐off mechanism that requires no tools. The cap itself can be wiped or rinsed to remove surface debris and is reusable, saving on replacement costs. A color‐coded freshness indicator built into the cap signals filter condition at a glance: green for optimal performance, yellow for nearing replacement, and red for immediate changeover.
